Roslind Blasingame

Roslind Blasingame-Buford was born May 27, 1976, and is a 30 year-old wife (Marques Buford Sr.), mother (Marques Jr.-5 & Mario 1.5), daughter (Marian Blasingame), grand daughter (Willie & Jessie Blasingame), leader, coach/manager, educator, and life-long learner! She has a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Chicago State University (2002), and a Master of Science in Human Services Administration from Spertus College (2004). Roslind has spent the past 10 years of her life uplifting at-risk youth by serving them as a volunteer, youth worker, and program manager. She is currently the Program Director for BUILD, Inc. (Broader Urban Involvement & Leadership Development), and has served in this capacity for over 4 years. Her motto is, "the most important thing that you can give someone, is a chance," and she works diligently to ensure that every young person that she interacts with understand that if they wish to, they're able to reach their full potential!
