The guest speaker for this event will be Mr. Harry Porterfield, from Channel 7’s, “Someone You Should Know” program. Mr. Porterfield is widely known in the Chicago area and has won numerous awards over the course of his television career, including ten Emmys and is uniquely qualified to talk about seniors and their issues.
Awardees for this event are Mrs. Georgia Griffin, Community Award, Mr. Phillip Mantle, Religion Award and State Senator Jackie Collins, Legislative Award. These distinguished awardees have done outstanding work with seniors in their respective communities and in the State of Illinois. We are happy to recognize their many accomplishments.
The Senior Action Network will host a reception before the main program and there will be musical entertainment provided by outstanding Chicago talent.

The Third Annual Senior Action Network Fundraiser will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2009 from 4 P.M. to 7 P.M. Tickets are $15.
