Ms. Szymczak was elected Treasurer of the Board of Directors of 1250 North LaSalle Condo Association. She also volunteers for Between Friends on their 24-Hour Domestic Violence Crisis Line. Ms. Szymczak is a member of the Chicago Foundation for Women’s Young Women’s Leadership Council, serving on the Skills Development Committee.
Ms. Szymczak is a graduate of the University of Michigan, where she received a Master of Accounting in 2002 and a Bachelor of Business Administration in 2001. She was a Graduate Student Instructor for Introductory Financial Accounting and a Full Instructor for Introductory Managerial Accounting. She was also a member of the Synchronized Swimming Team.
