Current Initiatives

While Community Renewal works on a variety of issue areas to fulfill its mission of a more just region, the organization is currently involved in several large-scale initiatives and events:

35 under 35 Leadership Award and Future Summit
Goal: Identify the next generation of social justice leaders and engage them in a dialogue around the pressing issues the region faces.

Children of the Incarcerated
Goal: End the cycle of intergenerational incarceration in the state of Illinois.

Faith Leaders for Fiscal Integrity
Goal: To bring fiscal integrity and responsibility to state government.
