REGISTER FOR THE FUTURE SUMMIT

The Community Renewal Society Future Summit is a high-level set of conversations between the region’s established and emerging leaders. The Summit is designed to achieve three key objectives:

  • Examine ways individuals and communities can put aside differences – real and perceived – to work collectively to address pressing social issues

  • Explore opportunities for institutional capacity building to ensure those in the trenches have adequate resources to carry out their work

  • Providing opportunities for participants to engage in relationship building and networking amongst peers and across generational, neighborhood, racial, ethnic and religious divides

  • Though the conversations will be intergenerational, the Summit will recognize the critical role that younger leaders can, must and do play in shaping the region’s future.

    PANEL TOPICS
  • Black, Brown and Everything in Between: Breaking Down the Walls that Divide

  • White Allies: Connecting Beyond Race and Place

  • Faith Organizations, social justice and the new millenium

  • Developing the Next Generation of Leaders
