Special Gift

Special gifts include pledges, tribute gifts, gifts of real estate and gifts of stock.

Pledges
Pledges, often multi-year, allow you to make a special gift beyond annual giving. You may designate a particular beneficiary of your pledged contribution or you may pledge unrestricted or general support for Community Renewal Society. You may make this kind of gift online or by mail or telephone.

Tribute Gift
Make a special gift to honor an occasion or in honor of an individual, couple or family.

Matching Gift
If your employer has a matching gifts program, using this program allows you to increase the value of your annual gift. Please talk with your company's human resources staff for more information.

Gifts of Real Estate
If you wish to make a gift of real estate, please call our development staff at 312.427.4830.

Gifts of appreciated Stocks
Your gift of appreciated stock will be used to support either general operating expenses of the organization or the work of our program units. You will make this kind of gift through your broker. Ask your broker in writing to transfer the stock to Community Renewal and advise her/him that LaSalle Bank is our broker. Before making a gift of stock, please notify Community Renewal development staff 312.427.4830. Transfer documents must include the following notations:
