Veronica Anderson is the editor-in-chief of Catalyst Chicago. She joined Catalyst as managing editor in 1996, and has served as associate publisher of its sister publication, Catalyst Cleveland.
Previously, Anderson was an associate editor at Crain’s Chicago Business, writing stories about law firms and consumer products companies that scooped the daily newspapers and as a freelance writer whose stories have appeared in local and national magazines.
She has won numerous awards for her work, including a Sigma Delta Chi from Society of Professional Journalists, the Clarion Award from the Association for Women in Communications, and a Peter Lisagor award for editorial writing and public service journalism.
She makes frequent speaking/media appearances, including:
