Jaquie Algee is Vice President/Director of External Relations for The Service Employees International Union Healthcare Illinois/Indiana/Missouri/Kansas (SEIU HCIIMK), where she directs activities that support and foster positive relations and collaboration with the faith community, community organizations/residents, political leaders and key stakeholders in support of worker rights and ensures that SEIU maintains a presence in the broader community as a committed partner. She is a board member and past president of the Chicago Coalition for the Homeless, Chair of the Roseland Neighborhood Recovery Initiative, Commissioner on the Illinois Anti-Violence Commission, Vice President of the Illinois Alliance for Retired Americans, Secretary of Community Assistance Program, Inc., and the Fundraising Chair of the Association for Child Development. Other board service includes Bright Star Community Outreach, Kids Off the Block and the Illinois Hunger Coalition. Ms. Algee is a member of Trinity UCC in Chicago.
