Kim Mongoven is the Director of Development and Communications for the Community Renewal Society. She is responsible for organizing the fundraising and Communications efforts of the Community Renewal Society, Catalyst Chicago, The Chicago Reporter and the organizing and policy programs of CRS. Kim joined the Community Renewal Society in 2008 after developing and organizing the first development department at Rape Victim Advocates.
Kim has worked for organizations as diverse as Amnesty International and the Fund for Public Interest Research. She is active within the Chicago community as a past Chair and Board Member of the Chicago chapter of the National Organization for Women and an active member of the steering committee for Amnesty International’s OUTfront program.
Kim graduated in 1997 with a B.A. from St. Norbert College in English and history and in 2008 with a M.S. in Public Service with an emphasis in Nonprofit Management from DePaul University.
