Community Renewal Society

Lorraine is the Editor-in-Chief of Catalyst Chicago. She first worked for Catalyst as managing editor from 1991 to 1996. She also is a former newswriter at WGN-TV and reporter at the Chicago Sun-Times and the Daily Southtown. She received a master’s degree in journalism from Northwestern University and a bachelor’s degree in English literature from Ohio State University. She keeps tabs on state and federal legislation, school governing bodies and CPS leadership.
