On Sunday, June 24, 2012, The Chicago Tribune’s Pot Tickets Aren’t New in Suburbs cited PCG’s study concerning the large number of communities throughout Illinois that have quietly decriminalized low levels of marijuana possession.

On Friday June 29, 2012, the Chicago Sun-Times ran Rev. Al Sharp’s most recent Common Good News column (Drug Laws on Trial) as a commentary titled City Pot Law Makes Good Sense.
