Community Renewal Society

Over 1,500 faith and community leaders rallied on Monday to honor the legacy of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. at the annual Community Renewal Society Faith in Action Assembly, held in First Baptist Congregational Church on Chicago’s West Side.

A good public education has long been considered to be the bedrock of our democracy and our economy, and both are currently in trouble.

Start this Lenten season off by showing your concern for a just and adequate budget – one that will fund education, human services, and health care – for all the residents of Illinois.

Springfield, IL: Join PCG staff and many others from the Responsible Budget Coalition in Springfield on the legislature’s first day back in session.
