A blessed people of God who are called to be a blessing to the world. While seeking the heart of God through dynamic worship, the Word of God compels us to live lifestyles of worship that witness to the love and healing power of Christ.
We welcome you here with open arms. We demonstrate God’s love. We are guided by the word of God, the salvation, the forgiveness and healing grace of Jesus Christ and the empowerment of the Holy Spirit to help others through acts of charity and justice.
We are a non-traditional congregation rooted in the Presbyterian tradition. Folks from every corner of the earth have formed a community of support, love, and care for anyone who walks in our doors. Whether you are new to Christianity or have been a life-long Christian, all are welcome.
Mass is celebrated in the Parish Hall on Sundays and holy days; and in the Father Tolton Chapel in the rectory on weekdays. The offices and food pantry are located at 2907 S. Wabash. We look forward to a new church building as we continue to serve the local community.
A vibrant faith community in the heart of Harvey striving to bring holistic hope, health, and help to the citizens we are called to serve. We believe that the mission of the church is to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.
A small urban congregation, we are diverse racially, ethnically, generationally and socio-economically. We support social justice and give generously to mission. We are a member of 3 denominations, the Presbyterian Church, the UCC and the United Methodist.
At Victory, we seek to edify the body of Christ by “Building Victorious Christlike Lives”. Public worship, Bible classes, Christian Education, Discipleship, small groups and various ministries for young and old, married and single are some of the means used by Victory to mold new creations in Christ to maturity.
