Rally Against Police Brutality

Will you join us this Sunday for a rally to stand together against police brutality? The rally will take place from 3 p.m.- 4:30 p.m. at Hartzell Memorial United Methodist Church, 3330 S. King Dr, Chicago.

"My soul is in anguish. How long, O Lord, how long?" (Psalm 6:3)

How long will the killings of African Americans by police officers continue? The murders of our brothers Alton Sterling and Philando Castile have sparked outrage across the county. We recognize that these incidents are not isolated, but are connected to a flawed system that allows officers to murder black men and women without consequence. We are calling together faith leaders from across the City of Chicago to take specific action that will guide us toward reform we have been waiting for far too long. Will you be with us?

We've prayed. Now we must act and stand together to demand that police officers be held accountable. We have not forgotten Laquan McDonald, Rekia Boyd, and the other victims that have fallen to the hands of the Chicago Police Department.

Register online to let us know you'll be with us. For further information please contact Ciera Walker at (312) 673-3834.
