The beginning of February means one thing for those of us in the advocacy world – our legislators are headed back to Springfield, and we need to go with them!
PCG is gearing up for an exciting legislative session. We’re focused on a number of important issues and are hopeful that with hard work — and some help from you — we’ll have something to celebrate come June. So, before your calendar gets too full, we’d like to let you know about a number of opportunities to come with us to Springfield. Consider joining us once, or four times! We promise that whatever time or effort you can commit to WILL make a difference.
The following is a list of our planned “Faith-in-Action Days” in Springfield. Some of them will be big, with many other organizations participating. Others will be smaller, planned with a few faith partners. All of them promise to be a wonderful experience. Read on for more information, and don’t hesitate to contact us (firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com) if you have any questions or want more information. We hope you’ll consider partnering with us in this important work!

If you want to come to Springfield to help us deliver it, talk to legislators, and participate in a press conference, contact Laura Dean Friedrich at 312-223-9544 ×223. This is a meaningful way to start the Lenten season!
