Rev. Robbie Craig, Interim Executive Director of Community Renewal Society, brings a rich and diverse set of experiences and skills to her role, including organizational management, financial oversight, fund development, church ministry, political advocacy, board leadership, public speaking, group facilitation, and pastoral presence. Rev. Craig is a retired Branch Manager of Citibank, with a career that spanned 40 years in the Financial Services Industry. 

She currently serves as a minister at New Faith Baptist Church International in Matteson, IL, co-chairing the Justice Ministry, chairing the Kingdom Financial Stewardship Ministry and is Chair Emeritus of the Victorious Christian Living Institute. In Matteson she was a candidate for President (mayor), as well as serving on the Matteson Business Association. Other board experience includes the 95th Street Business Association, Hyde Park Chamber of Commerce, Community and Economic Development Association of Cook County (CEDA - Chicago Heights), and the Cosmopolitan Chamber of Commerce. She volunteers for AARP, serving on its legislative team where she is working on a Senior Housing Ordinance in the City of Chicago. 

A graduate of DePaul University and Chicago Theological Seminary (M.Div.), she is currently working toward an Executive Certificate of Religious and Non-Profit Fundraising from McCormick Theological Seminary and earned a certificate from the Midwest Academy for having completed their nine month community organizing course. Before being named Interim Executive Director of Community Renewal Society, Rev. Craig served on the organization’s Board and Executive Committee, co-chaired the Policy and Organizing Committee (which coordinates the organization’s organizing and policy initiatives and actions), and was a member of the Budget & Finance Committee. Her work in every area of our organizational life has demonstrated her commitment to steward the values of Community Renewal Society.
