The Law Project and the Community Renewal Society will hold a free “CBA 101” workshop for community organizations on what a Community Benefits Agreement (CBA) is and the practical steps it takes to put one in place. This how-to workshop will be on Monday, December 12 from 6:30 – 8:00 pm at Old St.
On Saturday, October 15, 2016, CRS Lake County will be hosting more than 300 residents for a Community Empowerment Assembly. The Assembly will be held at Shiloh Baptist Church, located at 800 S. Genesee St. in Waukegan, from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
CRS Lake County is a group of member congregations and other local residents from North Chicago, Waukegan, and Zion who are working together to transform their own communities, while also pushing for state legislation with the larger organization.
