The South Side Town Hall will take place at The Congregational Church of Park Manor UCC, 7000 S Martin Luther King Drive, Chicago, IL from 6:30 pm -8:30 pm, on Tuesday, September 13.

Confronting Pharaoh - Northside

Short Description:

October 16, 2016 - 1:00pm to 4:00pm

In these two 3- hour sessions, participants will learning the following: Understanding power and what it takes to make real change, build relationships with other leaders ready to take actions, create strong steams to act together and create change and identify and develop new leaders in your church. Participants will also learn to identify the most vital issues that are affecting their neighborhood, and move congregations into public action to speak truth to power.

South Suburban Senatorial Forum

On September 10, 2016, South Suburban community members and Community Renewal Society, will host a South Suburban Senatorial Forum with U.S. Senator Mark Kirk and Congresswoman Tammy Duckworth. The Forum will take place at New Faith Baptist Church International, localted at 25 Central Avenue, Matteson, Illinois from 10:00am to 12:00 pm. The Senatorial Forum will represent 11 cities across the South Suburban area.
