A Better Illinois: Statewide Training Opportunity

Illinois’ current flat-rate individual income tax places an unfair burden on the poorest residents—and the state needs more revenue. That is why PCG and CRS have joined with dozens of organizations to address this basic issue of income inequality as part of the multi-year fair tax campaign for A Better Illinois.

We are calling faith advocates to help build a strong grassroots effort to enact a fair tax system for Illinois. Leaders—like you—are needed to spread the fair tax message around the state.

A Better Illinois will be holding a series of “Train the Trainer” events at the end of March and in early April. These sessions, distributed geographically across the state, will give an overview of the campaign and prepare you to present the fair tax campaign to others. This is a great opportunity to get involved in a significant tax reform initiative and become a trainer for PCG!

RSVP to Lindsey if you plan to attend. All training sessions will take place from 4:00-5:30 p.m.
