Join CRS at the Community Commission for Public Safety and Accountability (CCPSA)’s monthly public meeting. The Commission has invited the Chicago Police Department to provide a presentation on its Community Policing Assessment and Workforce Allocation Study, including how the Department is reviewing recommendations and planning for implementation. The meeting will also include opportunities for public comment and updates on the Commission’s ongoing work.

Those unable to attend the meeting in-person can join virtually via Zoom.

Agenda items include:

  • Presentation from the Chicago Police Department on its Community Policing Assessment and Workforce Allocation efforts

The Commission allows for public comments at their monthly meetings. Each person will have up to two minutes to speak. A total of twenty minutes will be dedicated to public comment at each meeting. If you wish to speak during the virtual public comment period, kindly request to do so by reaching out to Community Commission staff by emailing CommunityCommissionPublicComment@cityofchicago.org. Those wishing to speaking during the meeting must provide their name in writing to the Commission staff between 6:00 PM and 6:30 PM. If the number of interested speakers exceeds the time dedicated to public comment, speakers will be selected by a random drawing.

Written public comments may be submitted at the meeting or by emailing CommunityCommissionPublicComment@cityofchicago.org in advance.
