Members of the CRS Organizing and Policy Team recently attended a webinar hosted by the Alternative Response Group within the Grassroots Alliance for Police Accountability (GAPA) coalition. The session explored what a permanent alternative response system could look like as a fourth branch of emergency response, an important step in broader efforts to rethink how communities receive care and support in moments of crisis.
