Join us for Together, We Win! our 140th Annual Membership Assembly. Chicago Theological Seminary President, Dr. Bradley Braxton, will present the keynote address. Community Renewal Society leaders will come together to make decisions, live out our values and put our faith into action. We will recognize CRS service with Congregational and Partner Awards; affirm the annual Platform for Renewal; celebrate campaign victories and lament injustice; and make commitments to put our faith into action during the coming year.

Empowering Communities for Public Safety (ECPS) Orientation

CRS is hosting an ECPS orientation for new members or community organizations to join the Empowering Communities & Public Safety Coalition. We will share our strategy and tactics and ask attendees to engage with their community to help implement the ECPS Ordinance, including recruiting potential candidates for the 22 District Councils. *Please note: This event was rescheduled from August 11 to August 25.

The Empowering Communities for Public Safety coalition is holding an ECPS Ordinance and District Council Teach In. At the teach-in, you’ll learn more details about the role of the District Councils, hear about the 66 newly created elected positions — what their jobs might be like and hear a bit about what qualifications you need to be a District Council Rep. Learn more about this unique role to help shape public safety in your neighborhood.
